Your Role
As Tech Team (m/f/d), we’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
This is a leadership role with a robust coding component: you’ll spend 30–50% of your time writing and reviewing code, while also leading, mentoring, and growing a team of full-stack engineers.
As a Team lead at Slyce, you’ll not only define technical strategy but also work hands-on to deliver high-quality,
scalable solutions in TypeScript, React & NodeJS.
Your Responsibilities
Lead by Example: Hands on approach & actively contribute code weekly (30–50% of your time) in TypeScript, React, NodeJS.
Manage & Mentor: Directly lead a team of full-stack engineers, overseeing task distribution, code reviews, career growth, and performance management.
Shape Architecture & Strategy: Work with senior leadership to define technical direction, roadmap, and key architecture decisions.
Drive Quality: Ensure best practices, maintain code quality standards, and deliver robust, scalable systems.
Foster Culture: Create a cooperative, inclusive, and high-performance team environment with clear communication and ownership.
Operate Remotely: Effectively lead and support a distributed team across geographies.
