We are seeking an In-House Legal Executive with 0–4 years of experience in an IT company’s legal team to strengthen our legal framework. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, along with expertise in data privacy, IP management, and HR/labor matters.

About the Role:
He/she should be able to provide independent legal advice on critical organizational matters, including HR & labor compliance, intellectual property management, data privacy, insurance coverage, and regulatory requirements
The candidate will serve as a strategic partner across delivery, finance, security, and executive teams, driving contract closure and risk mitigation
The role involves building effective legal operations, developing policies, and working with a small legal team with a focus on scalability and governance
Prior in-house legal experience in a tech or IT environment is preferred

Responsibilities:
Draft, review and redline various agreements, such as NDAs, MSAs, Job Orders, Data Security Agreements, etc.




Lead contract negotiations with external legal counsel from clients, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and favorable closure
Serve as a key legal liaison across internal functions, including Finance, Delivery, Security, HR, and Executive Leadership to align legal terms with business objectives
Provide independent legal advice on critical organizational matters, including HR & labour compliance, intellectual property management, data privacy, insurance coverage, and regulatory requirements
Develop, review, and implement internal company policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks to strengthen governances
Design and optimize legal operations by introducing scalable processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time
Play a strategic role in Enterprise Risk Management by collaborating across functions to identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks
