Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Rebar Detailer role located in Thrissur. The Rebar Detailer will prepare detailed reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules based on structural and architectural plans. Daily tasks include interpreting design specifications, creating accurate shop drawings, and coordinating with engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design or detailing issues. The role involves checking drawings for compliance with relevant codes and standards, updating details based on revisions,
and ensuring that all documentation is explicit and usable for fabrication and installation. The Rebar Detailer will also maintain organized records of drawings and communicate timelines and progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong skills in interpreting structural and architectural drawings, with the ability to translate them into precise rebar details.
Proficiency in relevant CAD or detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, specialized rebar detailing tools) and basic computer literacy.
Solid understanding of construction practices, reinforcement detailing standards, and applicable codes.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to prepare clear bar bending schedules and documentation.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers, site personnel, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in Thrissur and manage workloads to meet project deadline
