About Business line/Function: Asset Management – Benchmark
Position Purpose
You, as a member of the Benchmark Operations, will be responsible for the daily creation of index & benchmarks, daily monitoring controls and validation of indices and Benchmark. Besides the creation, you will provide effective support to internal and external clients. You are responsible to manage the team in absence of Manager.
Responsibilities
Benchmark:
This team is responsible for creating/maintaining indices & benchmark for funds and mandate in accounting platform.
Strong knowledge of capital markets, including portfolio structure, benchmark creation, and index fundamentals.
In-depth understanding of portfolio composition, including sleeves, share classes, and benchmark construction.
Familiarity with index types, levels, constituents, and return types, as well as the ability to calculate returns at various levels.
Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies between bottom-up and top-level return calculations.
Effective communication skills to handle complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Understanding of corporate actions and their impact on portfolios.
Strong problem-solving skills to ensure smooth business-as-usual (BAU) operations and resolve issues efficiently.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity in a agile environment.
Capacity to remain calm, focused, and composed when faced with challenging situations, tight deadlines, or multiple competing demands.
Proactively manage workload to ensure timely completion of tasks and zero delays.
