Our writers are spending a large share of their week publishing instead of writing. Blog posts go out through WordPress; storefront pages go through Adobe Experience Manager — and because AEM page builds currently sit in the engineering team's backlog, a finished page can wait around two weeks before it goes live. Our organic targets do not allow for that.
This role exists to remove both problems. You will take 100% of publishing off the writers, and you will ship storefront pages in AEM yourself instead of queuing behind engineering. Your first month is spent embedded with the AEM engineering team learning the platform, the component library, and the publishing path; from month two onward you are the person who gets pages live. Success is measured on two things:



writers spending zero hours on publishing, and pages going live in days instead of weeks.

Own the build-and-publish stages of the page process
Own stages 9 through 11 of our Current Page Creation Process — build/QA, publish, and post-publish QA — for both storefront and blog.
Own the publishing queue and calendar so no page waits on you and no writer has to chase status.
AEM storefront publishing
Build and publish storefront pages in AEM: assemble pages from existing components, work with Content Fragments and Experience Fragments, manage Live Copy / MSM inheritance across our regional sites, and run pages through the authoring and publish workflow.
Build page sections that the standard components don't cover, using the patterns the engineering team will hand you in month one — without waiting on a code release.
