Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with expertise in SME and Insurance Sales to drive the growth of our Udyog Plus business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, relationship management, and consultative selling, with a proven ability to acquire and expand SME and business-owner customer relationships. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and delivering customized insurance solutions that address the protection and financial needs of business owners and enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, acquire, and develop new SME and business-owner relationships to drive insurance sales.
Build and execute business development strategies to expand the Udyog Plus customer base.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry associations, and market outreach activities.
Achieve assigned business targets relating to premium, policy issuance, and customer acquisition.




Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including SMEs, business owners, and corporate decision-makers.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable insurance and protection solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Identify recent business opportunities and emerging customer segments.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with internal sales, product, operations, and support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Provide exceptional service and support to existing customers.
Drive customer retention, cross-sell, and referral opportunities.

Eligibility & Experience

Education: Graduate in any discipline. MBA or Postgraduate qualification preferred. Prior experience in SME, MSME, Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, or related sectors preferred.
