Role & responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with safety policies and statutory regulations.

- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

- Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.

- Conduct safety induction and awareness training.

- Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices.

- Organize fire drills, mock drills, and emergency preparedness activities.

- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and statutory documentation.

- Coordinate with departments and contractors to ensure workplace safety.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices and legal compliance.

- Knowledge of Factory Act, Gujarat Factory Rules, and EHS regulations.

- Familiarity with ISO safety management systems is preferred.

- Good understanding of fire safety, emergency response, and risk assessment techniques.

- Solid communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
