Role Purpose - Analyse individual revenue transactions to ensure that revenue is properly documented and recorded according to company policy (US GAAP)
CTC - 18 to 25LPA
Shift - Night or 2 to 11PM
Exp - 5 to 8 Years
Qualification - CA / CIMA / ACCA / ACA
Key Responsibilities
‒ Review and interpret a significant volume of legal contracts, other supporting documents and correspondence to verify that documentation is adequate to support revenue recognition under US GAAP accounting policies. This can be of varying complexities
‒ Understand and adhere to internal accounting policies, processes and procedures
‒ Recognize and analyse potential issues and/or conflicts and recommend corrective action to minimize issues
‒ Organise documentation for audit
‒ Develop key relationships with internal clients; responding to their routine & non-routine queries
Person Specification/Requirements
‒ ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
‒ 5+ years of working in a finance function with exposure to US GAAP Reporting; specifically Revenue
‒ Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology preferred
‒ Able to read, analyse and interpret financial reports and complex business documents
‒ Experience of working in high volume transactions with a result driven mind-set
‒ Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to quickly form skilled relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
‒ Analytical & problem-solving approach. Can collect & review data to establish facts as well as provide solutions
‒ Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently, being both autonomous & a team player. But can identify when issues need to be escalated quickly
- ‒ Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, formulas, etc), Oracle Peoplesoft knowledge advantageous
