Job Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the retail store. This role ensures operational excellence, sales team discipline, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and efficient coordination with internal departments.

The Store

Manager will oversee daily store operations, maintain company standards, ensure timely reporting, and act as the primary point of accountability for the store’s overall performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations

· Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

· Take complete ownership of store opening and closing procedures as per company SOPs.

· Ensure the store remains fully operational during business hours with minimal disruptions.

· Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.

Team Management & Discipline

· Supervise and manage the sales team, ensuring professionalism and adherence to company policies.

· Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, grooming, and workplace discipline.

· Conduct daily team briefings and assign responsibilities.

· Ensure staff follow all company SOPs and customer service standards.

· Report disciplinary issues and performance concerns to HR and the Executive Operations Manager/COO.

Customer Experience & Escalation Management

· Handle customer escalations professionally and ensure timely resolution.

· Support the sales team in resolving complex customer concerns.

· Ensure every customer receives a high standard of service and support.

· Coordinate with CRM, Procurement,



and System Integration teams for issue resolution where required.

Inventory & Stock Management

· Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accountability.

· Perform daily stock verification and reconciliation.

· Ensure all inventory movements are updated accurately in Tally and other internal systems.

· Monitor stock discrepancies and investigate variances.

· Coordinate regular stock audits and assist during company-wide inventory verification.

Inter-Branch Coordination

· Coordinate inter-branch movement of products based on business requirements.

· Ensure timely documentation and tracking of stock transfers.

· Work closely with Inventory, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, and E-commerce teams to maintain product availability.

· Monitor pending transfers and ensure timely completion.

Store Maintenance & Housekeeping

· Ensure the store is clean, organized, and professionally maintained at all times.

· Monitor showroom displays, demo products, branding materials, and customer experience areas.

· Ensure all systems, lighting, air conditioning, internet, security equipment, and billing counters are fully functional.

· Report maintenance requirements promptly and ensure timely resolution.

Reporting & Communication

· Submit daily operational reports covering:

o Store sales summary o Attendance and staffing updates o Stock movement and inventory status o Customer escalations o Inter-branch transfers o Pending operational issues o Store maintenance requirements o Key observations and recommendations

· Escalate any operational risks, inventory shortages, security concerns, or customer issues to the Executive Operations Manager/COO without delay.

Compliance & SOP Adherence





· Ensure complete compliance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Conduct regular operational checks to ensure all processes are followed correctly.

· Support the implementation of new SOPs and operational improvements.

· Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company operational standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Store operational efficiency.

· Sales team discipline and attendance compliance.

· Customer satisfaction and escalation resolution time.

· Inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.

· Timely completion of inter-branch stock movements.

· Daily reporting accuracy and timeliness.

· Store cleanliness and presentation standards.

· Compliance with company SOPs and operational policies.

· Reduction in inventory discrepancies and operational issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong leadership and people management skills.

· Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.

· Good understanding of inventory management and retail operations.

· Working knowledge of Tally and inventory management systems.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

· Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

· Valuable knowledge of Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.

Preferred Experience

· 3–5 years of experience in retail store management, consumer electronics, IT hardware, or technology retail.

· Experience managing sales teams and inventory operations.

· Knowledge of PC hardware, gaming products, and consumer electronics will be an added advantage.
