To be successful as a Data Engineer, you should have experience with:

Overall experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, process mining, business intelligence, data warehousing, or enterprise data platforms.
Hands-on experience with Celonis, including Data Integration, Data Pools, Data Models, Transformations, Analyses, and Process Mining use cases.
Strong SQL expertise, including complex joins, window functions, performance tuning, incremental loading, and data quality validation.
Strong understanding of Celonis Process Query Language (PQL), process mining concepts, event logs, activity tables, case tables, and KPI modelling.
Experience building scalable data pipelines into Celonis from enterprise systems using connectors, APIs, databases,



or scheduled data extracts.
Good understanding of banking and financial services processes, including KYC, client onboarding, lending, payments, operations, reconciliation, complaints management, risk controls, and regulatory reporting.
Experience with relational databases and enterprise or cloud data platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, and Azure.
Ability to analyse source system data structures and translate business process logic into reliable Celonis data models.
Robust troubleshooting skills across data load failures, transformation issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including documentation, backlog refinement, sprint execution, and stakeholder demonstration.
