The Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis Technology is a key member of the Finance team supporting Technology, Operations, and other organizations within Empower. This role is responsible for preparing and distributing recurring financial reports, dashboards, and analyses used by business leaders and senior analysts to support decision-making and performance management. The position also performs expense variance analysis,



including actual-to-budget and period-over-period reporting, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. In addition, this role monitors financial activity to help ensure accurate accounting and reporting, supports monthly close, forecasting, and budgeting processes, and manages and maintains financial planning models and related data.

Essential Functions

Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to communicate business performance, trends, and key insights to management and senior leadership.
Analyze financial and operational trends, including expense performance, budgeting variances, and other key business metrics.
Build, maintain, and enhance annual budget and long-term financial planning models supporting Technology, Operations, and other business units.
Support expense budgeting and workforce/headcount planning processes.
