Data Engineering Lead/Architect ? Snowflake & AIYears of Experience: 10+ YearsJob Summary
We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead/Architect with extensive hands-on Snowflake expertise and a proven track record in designing scalable, client-facing data solutions. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can lead solution development while actively contributing to the implementation of data engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end Snowflake data platforms tailored to client needs.
Define architecture for data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and consumption.
Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) to enhance data quality and accessibility.
Work hands-on with Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Snowpark.
Drive performance optimization and cost efficiency across data solutions.
Apply Snowflake Cortex / Intelligence in real-world use cases to enhance data processing.
Leverage AI pair programming tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders,



translating business needs into effective data solutions.
Mentor team members and enforce best practices in data engineering.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on Snowflake implementation experience is a deal breaker.
Expertise in Data Modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.
Experience with Medallion Architecture and its implementation.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex / Intelligence for data optimization is added advantage, but familiarity is must.
Experience with AI pair programming tools such as Claude and Copilot.
Robust SQL skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Proven client-facing experience with a focus on delivering solutions.
Note: This position requires readiness to work in shifts starting between 3-4 pm & ending at 12-1 AM IST. It's an ask for 2-3 months, and will be regular shift after the given period.
