About the Role: LEAD started with a vision to provide disruptive EdTech solutions for all stakeholders. Since then, LEAD has grown into a team of proficient individuals striving to transform education. In line with this vision and strategy, LEAD has been continuously working on creating world class products. We are looking to hire a General Manager, Category to achieve 2-3x growth of the brand (product line) through product and market innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Own Innovation Roadmap for the brand to drive penetration and share of requirement among users
o Deep data analysis of trial, conversion, usage, retention to uncover patterns
o Deep consumer research to identify unmet needs, insights, and likes/ dislikes
o Convert insights into concepts for product development and marketing initiatives
● Own P&L; for profitable growth of the brand
o Pricing strategy based on cost plus, user backward and competition benchmarking
o Cost optimization based on unit cost analysis and benchmarking
● Project Management to launch product and marketing initiatives and ensure their success via collaborating with –
o Product, tech, and academic teams
o Internal marketing team and external agencies
o Sales teams

● Thinking and Problem Solving: Solid data analysis and connecting the dot’s ability.
● Intuition and Insight mining: Being able to observe, listen and understand consumer insights to uncover opportunities.
● Eye for Marketing & Brand Communication: Clarity in briefs and in experience in developing effective marketing communication.
● Collaboration and Influence: Proven capability to collaborate with and influence senior leaders.
● Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, P&L; management, and ROI evaluation.
EXPERIENCE
Educational Background: MBA from tier-1 colleges (IIM – A, B, C, K, I, L or ISB)
Professional Experience:
● 2-4 years of experience in managing - 20
