What You'll Do
As part of the Electrical team at Aule, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of spacecraft electrical systems: from power generation and distribution to onboard electronics that enable autonomous and reliable operations in orbit.
Responsibilities
Work on the electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements
Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis
Work with multidisciplinary teams of design, test, and production engineers to create recent power electronics hardware
Plan and run environmental tests (EMI/EMC, TVAC, Vibration)
Manage and control key components such as solar panel arrays, power regulation and distribution, power processing, and power conditioning
Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team
What We Look For
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience
A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
Experience working with, designing for, and testing high voltage components and systems
Experience in designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuits
Preferred Requirements
EMI/EMC experience
Experience with designing for fault tolerance, especially to withstand a radiation environment
Experience with photovoltaics
