Role Description This is a full-time, in office Reporter role based in Karnataka, India. The Reporter will gather information from various sources, conduct interviews, attend briefings and events, and produce clear, accurate news and feature stories related to the organisation’s projects and initiatives.

Daily tasks include researching topics, verifying facts, writing and editing reports, and preparing multimedia content such as photos, audio, or video when needed. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely dissemination of information that aligns with organisational guidelines and government communication standards. The Reporter is expected to meet deadlines, maintain ethical reporting practices, and adapt coverage to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills to cover organisational activities, projects, and events accurately.




- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing abilities to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills, such as handling images, audio, or video, to support digital and visual storytelling.
- Relevant academic background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to conduct thorough research, verify information, and work ethically with sensitive or government-related content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a structured, on-site environment.
- Familiarity with government processes, public policy, or development sectors in India will be an advantage.
