What you'll do

NexusWave delivers fast, always-on connectivity by seamlessly integrating multiple high-speed networks in real time – Global Xpress (GX) Ka
band, low-Earth orbit (LEO) services, and as-available coastal LTE service – with an additional layer of L-band for resiliency. NexusWave offers
high -speed connectivity, unlimited data, global coverage, and 'secure by design' infrastructure trusted by global enterprises and
governments.
You will work in a global cross functional development team, and interact directly with your peers within Access Edge Maritime
Engineering to create the best possible service in a collaborative environment.




The successful candidate is required to work on key Viasat Edge and shore-side (AWS and HybridCloud) solutions.
You are expected to be familiar with networking, software and communication hardware.

The day-to-day

* Ability to focus building solutions around performance with scale considerations in mind.
* Ability to work on distributed remote agile teams with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
* Embracing the DevOps philosophy of product development, in addition to your design development activities you are also required
to provide operational support of the post-production deployment
* Create and discuss trade offs with Low level designs around solutions to be made to work in Linux setting, in vessel and across clouds.

What you'll need

10+ years of software development experience with exposure of building applications at scale in C++ or Golang.
