About the Role
Our client, a leading MNC in the Manufacturing sector, is looking to hire a CFO / Finance Head for its India operations, based out of Gurgaon. The role will be responsible for leading the entire finance function in India, ensuring robust financial reporting, taxation, and compliance frameworks, while acting as a strategic business partner to the leadership team.
The ideal candidate will bring solid technical finance expertise combined with commercial acumen, leadership capability, and the ability to navigate the complexities of operating as an MNC subsidiary in India and specially working in manufacturing industry

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
Act as the Finance Head/CFO for India operations,



providing strategic financial leadership to the CEO/MD and leadership team.
Partner with global/regional finance leadership to align India's financial strategy with overall corporate objectives.
Drive business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions, capital investments, and expansion plans.
Financial Reporting & Controls
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS and Group reporting requirements
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks.
Manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring clean audit reports and timely resolution of observations.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with Indian direct and indirect tax laws (Income Tax, GST, Transfer
