Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Application Engineer to join our Servicing Value Stream team. This role is ideal for an engineer with either: Strong Angular development skills and working knowledge of Java, or Strong Java development skills and working knowledge of Angular.
The successful candidate will work across frontend and backend technologies,
collaborate closely with product managers and technical leads, and contribute to the delivery of scalable, high-quality digital solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their full-stack engineering capabilities while working on impactful products supporting Vanguard's UK and European business.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and support contemporary web applications using Angular.
Design and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Architects, and Engineers to deliver business solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Support cloud-native application development and deployment within AWS.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
