Our team manages the complete retention channel, including strategy, campaign planning, automated flows, copywriting, design, implementation, testing, and performance analysis.

We have worked with over 70 brands across supplements, wellness, beauty, apparel, fragrances, food, jewellery, and outdoor products.

About the role

We are looking for a smart and curious marketer who wants to specialise in retention marketing.

Prior email marketing experience is useful, but not required. We can teach you Klaviyo, Omnisend, automated flows, and email strategy.

However, strong copywriting ability is essential.

At Syncopated,



retention marketers are responsible for both planning the marketing strategy and writing the copy. You will develop campaign ideas, decide what needs to be communicated, and write the emails and SMS messages yourself.

You may currently be working in social media, paid advertising, content marketing, copywriting, brand marketing, or another ecommerce marketing role. The exact channel matters less than your ability to understand customers, develop robust marketing ideas, and communicate them clearly.

Key Responsibilities

Understand each brand’s products, positioning, customers, competitors, and marketing voice
Research customer motivations, objections, buying behaviour, and common questions
Plan email and SMS campaigns based on the brand’s goals, calendar, and customer journey
Help build automated journeys for welcome, product abandonment, cart abandonment, post-purchase, winback, and other customer stages
Develop campaign concepts, messaging
