To conduct and operate homologation activities for certification and sustenance of all Exponent products including battery, charger and all CMVR applicable components..
Job Description
To identify, document and detail homologation requirements for CMVR components as per Exponent Business needs
Coordinate engineering, testing and certification activities for CMVR controlled components and products, internal at Exponent and with test agencies
Define, monitor and review homologation needs of the new products throughout the product life cycle
Evaluate ECR/ECNs for homologation impacts and review implementation requirements applicable for relevant CMVR type certified components and products
Provide necessary documentation for systems, testing and engineering team to enable CMVR requirement capturing, adherence and validation for respective systems, components
Provide necessary process, documentation and audit requirements to various stakeholders for homologation and CMVR compliance
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelors/Masters in engineering disciplines- Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Mechatronics/ Automobile/ Reliability
2+ years of experience in complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation
Exposure/ experience of understanding tests, failures and test methods related to homologation and type approval
Data analysis and data management
Documentation, test standards, and AIS/UNECE standards familiarity for CMVR approval
