Position

REEL is an industrial group specializing in complex lifting and handling equipment’s as well as integrated systems solutions. These systems are integrated into its clients’ processes across the world in various domains such as aeronautics, defense, energy, metallurgy, offshore and industry.
We are seeking an Electrical & Automation Design Engineer to own the end-to-end design, development, and integration of electrical control systems and automation architectures. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware power distribution and software automation logic,
taking projects from initial concept through detailed engineering and technical support for commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical & Control System Design:
Design and develop detailed electrical schematics, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, and wiring schedules using tools like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar hardware design platforms
Size and select electrical components including switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), servos, and UPS systems
Ensure all designs comply with relevant global and national standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC, CE, or local grid codes)
Automation Architecture & Programming
Design network architectures for industrial automation using protocols like Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus
Program and configure major PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA platform
