Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer – Process Simulation with a robust process engineering background and an R&D-oriented; mindset to support the development of simplified process models for the Net Zero Emissions Plant (NZEP) program.
The primary responsibility of this role is to transform detailed process simulation models into simplified, computationally efficient models that can be integrated into digital engineering tools and applications.




This role sits at the intersection of Process Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Modeling, and Software Development and is considered a key position supporting one of the core technology pillars of the NZEP program.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop simplified process models from detailed simulation models for integration into digital engineering platforms.
· Forecast, optimize, and reduce the carbon footprint of day-to-day operations by analyzing equipment behavior across assets and identifying feasible improvement opportunities to minimize greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This includes monitoring energy consumption, evaluating operational efficiency, and implementing sustainable solutions to achieve decarbonization and net-zero emission goals.

o Mathematical models
· Identify the most suitable strategy for simplification while balancing accuracy, computational efficiency,
