About the Role

The Mortgage Underwriting Trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting training sessions focused on mortgage underwriting practices, with an emphasis on the 4 C's (Capacity, Credit, Collateral, and Capital). This role requires a deep understanding of mortgage underwriting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The trainer will ensure that underwriters are equipped with the necessary skills to assess loan applications accurately and efficiently.





Responsibilities

Training Development: Design, develop, and update training materials, courses, and modules focused on US mortgage underwriting practices, regulations, and industry standards.
Instructional Delivery: Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars for current hires, existing employees, and other stakeholders on mortgage underwriting processes, guidelines, and risk assessment.
Content Customization: Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of different departments or teams, ensuring that all materials are relevant, current, and aligned with industry changes.
Performance Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics. Provide constructive feedback and support to trainees to improve their skills and knowledge.
