About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP PLM Functional Consultant / Team Lead to lead functional enhancements across custom-built SAP PLM applications for a global Digital R&D; transformation program.
The ideal candidate will work closely with global product owners and business stakeholders to drive requirement discovery, functional design, solution configuration, testing, and hypercare across SAP S/4HANA 2022.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering and discovery workshops with business stakeholders and product owners.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and build-ready solution designs.
Own the end-to-end functional lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Drive enhancements across SAP PLM capabilities, including:
Manage Specification (MS)
Manage Recipe (MR)
Mass Change
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, high-quality solution delivery.
Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment activities.
Provide functional leadership and mentor junior SAP PLM consultants.
Work closely with global cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps delivery environment.
Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.
Required Skills & Experience
8–15+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
Strong expertise in SAP PLM on SAP S/4HANA.
Hands-on experience with:
Manage Specification
Manage Recipe
Mass Change
Experience in SAP Fiori-based PLM applications.
Strong knowledge of SAP PLM business processes and product lifecycle management.
Experience preparing Functional Specifications (FS), configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
Solid exposure to SIT, UAT, production support, and hypercare activities.
