Job Designation: Landscaping Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Landscaping Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and
overseeing all landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping activities across the
institution's campus. The role includes supervising ground staff and gardeners,
maintaining lawns, gardens, plantations, and green spaces, ensuring the upkeep
of horticultural equipment and tools, and ensuring that the campus grounds are
safe, clean, and aesthetically maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

1. Landscaping & Ground Maintenance

* Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day landscaping and gardening activities
across the campus.

* Ensure regular maintenance of lawns, hedges, flower beds, plantations, and
green spaces.

* Develop and implement seasonal planting, pruning, watering, and fertilization
schedules.

* Monitor plant health and coordinate timely action for pest control, disease
management, and soil treatment.





* Ensure aesthetic upkeep of the campus in line with institutional standards
and the events calendar.

2. Team & Workforce Supervision

* Supervise, train, and allocate daily tasks to gardeners, groundskeepers, and
landscaping staff.

* Monitor staff attendance, performance, and productivity, and provide
constructive feedback.

* Ensure adherence to safety practices and proper use of tools and machinery by
ground staff.

* Coordinate manpower planning during peak seasons, events, or special
landscaping projects.

3. Project & Event Management

* Plan and execute landscaping projects including recent plantations, garden
redesigns, and lawn renovations.

* Coordinate with vendors, nurseries, and contractors for procurement of
plants, saplings, and landscaping materials.

* Support preparation of campus grounds for institutional events, functions,
and annual programmes.
