Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Engineer to support our Power Electronics R&D; team in prototyping and testing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on soldering experience with fine-pitch components (including 0201, 0402, BGA, and QFN packages), high-voltage electrical wiring, and test setup assembly. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities and supporting engineering teams in product development and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Component Handling & Soldering:




Perform accurate soldering and rework of fine-pitch components such as 0201, 0402, BGA, and QFN packages.
Use microscopes and reflow equipment for accurate placement and inspection of components.
Handling and operating power electronics lab equipment.
Purchase and maintain component inventory and proper storage of sensitive electronic components.
Rework and fix assembly-related issues on non-working PCBs.
Test Setup Assembly:
Build and wire custom test setups based on engineering schematics and requirements.
Route and terminate cables, connectors, and harnesses for electrical testing.
Ensure all setups meet safety and quality standards.
Lab Maintenance & Support:
Organize and maintain lab equipment, tools, and workstations.
Calibrate and troubleshoot basic lab instruments (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
