Quantcast names Tom Weaving Managing Director for SEA

Quantcast has appointed Tom Weaving as Managing Director for Southeast Asia, where he will oversee the company's commercial efforts across key markets in the region.
He will focus on revenue growth, with Singapore and Hong Kong identified as priorities alongside other emerging markets. He will also lead the regional rollout of Quantcast's recently launched Q+ advertising product and report to Paul Sigaloff, Vice President for APAC.
Singapore will serve as Weaving's base. His appointment puts an experienced programmatic advertising executive in charge of a region where digital advertising groups continue to compete for share among brands and agencies seeking broader reach across the open internet.
Weaving joins Quantcast after nearly eight years at The Trade Desk, where he most recently served as Senior Director of Business Development for South and Southeast Asia. In that role,
he led the expansion of the company's Southeast Asian business and managed commercial teams across the region.
Earlier in his career, he held senior sales and account management roles at AOL, Adap.TV and Catcha Digital Asia. He also served on the IAB Singapore Video Committee, adding industry body experience to a career centred on programmatic advertising, sales leadership and business development.
The move comes as Quantcast continues to reshape its leadership structure in Asia-Pacific. Weaving's appointment follows the recent addition of Sigaloff as Vice President for APAC, signalling a broader push to strengthen the company's regional management team.
His remit includes developing business in both established and emerging Southeast Asian markets, placing him at the centre of Quantcast's efforts to deepen its presence across a region that spans mature advertising hubs and faster-growing digital economies.
