Job summary
We are seeking an experienced OpenSearch Administrator with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our OpenSearch environments. You will collaborate with a global team of administrators to design, automate, build, operate, and continuously enhance the indexing services that support our customer-facing SaaS products.
What you will do
Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization.
Implement security best practices including authentication,



authorization, and encryption.
Develop backup and recovery strategies for OpenSearch clusters.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex OpenSearch issues.
Perform cluster upgrades and patches with minimal downtime.
Optimize query performance and data indexing strategies.
Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient search solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for OpenSearch configurations and procedures.
Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Act as a backup for other team members when necessary.
Provide on-call support and working off-hours as needed to ensure reliability and availability.
Bi-weekly rotating shifts are necessary to ensure coverage during weekends.
What you will have
3+ years of hands-on experience administering OpenSearch clusters.
Strong understanding of OpenSearch architecture and core concepts.
Experience with OpenSearch Dashboards, Logs
