Job Purpose
ICE Mortgage Technology is the leading cloud-based platform provider for the mortgage finance industry. ICE Mortgage Technology solutions enable lenders to originate more loans, reduce origination costs, and reduce the time to close, all while ensuring the highest levels of compliance, quality, and efficiency.
A Principal Business Analyst should possess an expert-level knowledge of US mortgage documents and data structures, applying that knowledge to drive strategic analysis and deliver impactful solutions. The role requires exceptional communication skills, robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
Review and deliver test results as per business requirements and apply root cause analysis on defects and incidents after each release.
Create comprehensive test cases and identify defects and quality gaps in final deliverables prior to release.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex business processes and systems within the specialized domain,



and document findings with accuracy.
Provide strategic expert advice and data-driven recommendations on business solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Participate in scrum events and collaborate with DevOps, QA, Engineering, and Product teams to understand scope planning, requirements, and delivery commitments.
Perform Gap Analysis, Release Planning, and implement Process Improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and delivery quality.
Analyze and document Jira stories, defects, and epics with detailed findings, ensuring traceability and clarity throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Maintain and continuously update data documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project and post-release phases.
