Job Summary:
Under general supervision (while working independently most of the time), the Senior Analyst – Credit Risk in Wealth Management is responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), privately held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and commercial real estate clients.



The Senior Analyst will analyze financial data using tools such as Moody’s Credit Lens, assess creditworthiness, and develop credit analysis reports to support underwriting and lending decisions.
In this role, the Senior Analyst manages complex credit analysis assignments, mentors junior analysts, and ensures the accuracy and quality of credit spreads. The Senior Analyst also works on strategic and special projects identified by management.
Collaboration with relationship managers and internal stakeholders is required to structure credit facilities that align with clients’ wealth management goals while adhering to Northern Trust’s risk management. This position offers exposure to sophisticated financial products, a dynamic work setting, and opportunities to develop expertise in credit analysis for the wealth management sector.
