Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Job Purpose: To lead and drive the Quality function across Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), Receipt Quality Assurance (RQA), Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA), Customer Quality, Current Product Quality Planning, and Compliance Management, ensuring zero-hour customer complaints, robust supplier performance, manufacturing excellence, and successful new product launches while maintaining compliance with quality standards and audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Quality Management

Drive the organization's objective of achieving Zero Hour Customer Complaints.
Monitor and analyze manufacturing-related customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure timely response and closure of customer complaints as per defined response timelines.
Track and improve Engine RPT performance at customer locations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to eliminate recurring quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

2. Receipt Quality Assurance (RQA) & Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA)





Establish and maintain robust incoming and in-process quality control systems.
Drive reduction in:

LR PPM (Line Rejection Parts Per Million)
GR Rejection Percentage
In-house RPT cases.

Ensure effective execution and closure of:

Process audits
Product audits
Layered audits

Monitor quality trends and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing performance.
Lead problem-solving activities using quality tools such as 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.

KPI: LR PPM reduction, GR Rejection reduction., Process/Product audit closure compliance. and In-house RPT reduction
3. Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)

Develop supplier quality improvement plans and monitor supplier performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives at supplier facilities.
Conduct supplier audits and ensure closure of non-conformities.
Improve Supplier Performance Index (SPI).
