Department Overview
The Core Platforms & Services team is responsible for the development and operations of critical cloud infrastructure and platform services, in support of Motorola Solutions' public and hybrid cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of Motorola Solutions’ Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and effective team communications, workflow and operational intelligence solutions for mission critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world.

Job Description
The ideal candidate analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s platform infrastructure, performing system integration to ensure high throughput, security, and absolute reliability. In this role, you will focus on building robust Kubernetes platforms across multi-cloud systems and driving their entire Lifecycle Management (LCM), including self-hosted and managed cluster environments. You are expected to act as a key engineering partner for application teams,understanding their specific Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure requirements, integrating those needs back into our core platforms, and maintaining effective monitoring stacks to ensure full platform visibility.
