lead design engineer - Turbine
Working location: HIP/ Prithla, India
General Description
LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER - TURBINE in TURBINE ENGINEERING, with designations ranging from Sr. Manager to DGM (in commensurate with experience) for Executing Basic and Detail Design of Large Hydro conventional & Large / small Refurbishment projects and spares for OEM (Own) as well as Non-OEM.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Reverse engineering, Problem analysis in the existing plant
Concept & Detail design of Turbine assemblies and components.
Layouts, Drawings, BoMs, Purchase specifications
Continuous improvement of product & processes, optimisation
Technical troubleshooting / NCR handling (study the issue and providing solution)



at shop and site
Handling customer queries and approvals for Indian and International projects
Design collaboration and reviews with technical experts in parent company at Europe
Team (4 to 5 Engineers) handling / planning activity.
Response to customer and internal departments.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: B.E/ M.E./M. Tech - Mechanical Engineering from reputed Institute
Experience:

10+ years of experience in mechanical design of Hydro Turbines using 3D CAD software (NX and Team Center preferable)
Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering design concepts
Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes involved
Experience of technical trouble shooting
Proactive, avid learner, team player, valuable communication ability

Languages: Proficiency in English, Hindi

Hydro Turbine Design & Engineering along with the whole product life cycle
