Responsibilities

Oversee daily operation of switchyard equipment (circuit breakers, isolators, CT/PT, busbars).
Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of transformers and associated systems.
Monitor load flow, fault levels, and equipment health using diagnostic tools.
Supervise engineers and technicians in the switchyard & transformer section.
Provide training on advanced diagnostic and maintenance practices.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Plan and execute transformer refurbishments, switchyard expansions, and modernization projects.
Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and contractors for technical support.
Experience in managing the 400 KV switchyard
Experience in Gas Insulated Switchgear or Gas Insulated Substation
Experience in Air-Insulated Switchgear
Experience in managing the Line

Qualifications

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).

Experience: 10–15 years in power plant, utility, or heavy industry electrical systems with at least 5 years in leadership.
