Job Overview

R&D;/PRODUCT DVL ENGINEER will be responsible for the Design and Development of RFoF System for Aerospace, defense & marine market requirements. He/She will work with Product management and Marketing team to develop RFoF Products by translating a customer requirement into a Product requirement, work through the Development cycle including Testing, Approval and Release into Production. He/She is responsible to drive both Global & Local RFoF Development programs.

Responsibilities

Drive RFoF product development for global & local development programs
Work on New Product Development (NPD) following Gate process & Product development process
Responsible for developing the test plan and testing of the components
Co-ordinate with internal & external vendors/ test facilities for testing & qualification of the product
Responsible for meeting the On-time delivery and First Pass Yield design documents, products, sketches, ATP,



QTP, test documentation, test estimation, work with approving agencies to get the product qualified
Co-ordinate with Business Development team to define and develop recent proposals/ new product opportunities and give technical insights on the project
Mentor the new team members on design and development of RFoF processes
Ensure on time delivery and first-time right approach in all the project deliverables.
Work with local and global counterpart / stake holder for ensuring quality deliverable and project execution.

Work closely with third party vendor / supplier to define the technical requirements for the product and project execution

Candidate Desired Profile

Education/ Knowledge:

BE/BTech/MTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Optical communication with specialization in Fiber Optics or Photonics design
Min 5 years of experience in design and development of fiber optics
