Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Recruiter will manage end-to-end hiring processes, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating technical and managerial interviews, and supporting selection decisions for various functions within aerospace and defence manufacturing.

The role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements, drafting job descriptions, and maintaining a strong talent pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and use of recruitment platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and following up on interviews,



managing candidate communication, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and maintaining accurate recruitment records and reports. The Recruiter will also support employer branding initiatives, participate in career events as needed, and help ensure hiring practices are fair, inclusive, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong talent acquisition and recruitment skills, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
- Experience collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements and create explicit, accurate job descriptions.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards), and basic HR documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory hiring practices; commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or engineering-focused recruitment is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field; relevant recruitment or HR certifications are a plus.
