About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished technology leader to establish, build and scale Woolworths Group's Technology organisation in India.
Reporting to the Director – Woolworths Group India, this role will be responsible for building a world-class Technology organisation that will become a strategic extension of Woolworths Group's global technology function across Australia and New Zealand.
As the senior-most Technology leader in India, you will build and lead high-performing engineering teams across Technology, Digital, Platforms, Data and Enterprise Engineering while partnering closely with global technology leaders to deliver enterprise technology initiatives.
Beyond technology delivery,



you will establish up-to-date engineering practices, build leadership capability, champion AI-enabled software development, drive operational excellence and create an engineering culture that positions Woolworths Group India as a strategic centre of technology excellence rather than a traditional delivery organisation.
This is a rare opportunity to build a technology organisation from the ground up while helping shape one of Australia's largest retailers' long-term technology strategy in India.
