Job Title: React Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code using React.js and similar UI frameworks.
- Implement state management using Redux.
- Design and develop responsive web applications with a focus on user experience and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with product owners, business managers and other developers to understand user requirements and develop high-quality software solutions with intuitive visually appealing interfaces.
- Optimize application performance and implement best practices.
- Integrate with backend services.
- Conduct code reviews, collaborate with team members mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Create and maintain documentation on architecture, processes, data flows, and data dictionary.
- Assist with development and perform support test and deployment of new features.

Required Competencies

- 3+ years experience in an engineering role.
- 3+ years Experience in a JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Vue.Js, Angular, etc..
- 3+ years Experience in consuming backend microservices.
- Experience with UI libraries such as Material UI, Bootstrap etc.
- Familiarity with Chart.js and advanced JavaScript concepts.
- Good code craftsmanship and software design skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- A strong interest in best practice ways of working such as Design patterns, DevOps, TDD, Trunk-based Development, CI/CD and XP, performance optimization,



and state management.
- Experience in testing frameworks like Cypress, Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
- Excellent communication skills and interest in a pair-programming environment.
- An understanding of agile development practices.
- Understanding of responsive design principles, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and web security.
- Good Git version control skills with Github.

Additional nice to haves:

- Experience in deploying web applications, databases or other backend services.
- Experience in developing/maintaining applications in an AWS or other cloud environment.
- Experience with serverless technologies and application development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Knowledge of using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
