Role Description The Racking Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and inspection of warehouse racking systems at the on-site location in Bhuj. This full-time role includes planning daily work schedules, allocating tasks to technicians, and ensuring that racking layouts meet safety standards and client specifications. The supervisor will monitor material availability, coordinate with project managers and client representatives, and maintain accurate documentation of installation progress and quality checks.

Routine duties include conducting safety briefings, identifying and resolving on-site issues,



and ensuring that all work is completed within agreed timelines and in accordance with company procedures. The role also involves training team members on best practices, reporting project status to management, and supporting continuous improvement of racking operations.

Qualifications

Experience in supervising racking installation or similar warehouse infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of industrial racking systems and material handling equipment.

Proficiency in reading layout drawings, planning work sequences, and coordinating on-site activities to meet timelines and quality standards.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate on-site teams, manage workloads, and maintain a safe working environment in line with safety regulations.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills, including maintaining records of inspections, installations, and maintenance activities.

Valuable verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, project managers, and internal stakeholders.

Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil engineering) preferred; significant practical experience in racking or warehouse projects will also be considered.

Familiarity with basic computer tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project tracking) and readiness to work full-time on-site in Bhuj.
