Role Description The MEP Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems on BIM-enabled projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and models, performing quantity take-offs, analyzing specifications, and coordinating with design and project teams to validate scope and pricing.

The role involves developing detailed cost breakdowns, updating estimates as designs evolve, and supporting bid submissions and value engineering efforts.



The MEP Estimator will work closely with BIM specialists to leverage digital models for estimation, identify constructability issues, and contribute to cost-effective and sustainable design solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong MEP estimation skills, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools.
- Hands-on experience with BIM environments (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and model-based estimation workflows.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, codes, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software for data analysis, reporting, and cost tracking.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the AEC sector, particularly in estimating or cost management for MEP projects, is highly beneficial.
- Capability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
