Role Description The Quantity Surveyor role at Gepdec Infratech Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajasthan, India. The role involves preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for infrastructure and power-related projects.

The Quantity

Surveyor will track project costs, monitor budgets, and support contract administration, including valuation of work, certification of payments, and handling variations and claims. Daily responsibilities include liaising with project managers, engineers, vendors,



and clients to ensure accurate measurements, cost control, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date cost records, supporting project reporting, and contributing to risk assessments and value engineering efforts.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities and tender documents.
- Ability to manage project budgets, perform cost control, and handle variations, claims, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in measurement and valuation techniques, and familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and contractual frameworks.
- Competence in using MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; basic understanding of project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in infrastructure, power, or construction projects, preferably in transmission and distribution or EPC environments.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on projects in Rajasthan and adapt to field conditions, site schedules, and organizational processes.
