The position requires extensive interface with engineering disciplines, modelers, designers and detailers locally in the Mumbai and Bangalore offices as well as remotely with construction,
design leads and project management teams in various offices in the United States.
The position is responsible for engineering activities on extensive and complex projects, especially combined cycle projects.
Key Responsibilities
Build trust and positive relationships between the US and India engineering teams to foster a culture of continual improvement.
Ensure proper implementation and application of the workshare methodology and work processes, promoting operational-level teamwork to support successful worksharing.
Manage discipline, technical work and team activities to meet all health, safety, environmental, statutory, customer, local and global standards while maintaining design integrity.
Participate in project execution strategy and planning, drive innovative solutions and develop engineering plans to support successful project delivery.
Review estimates and provide input for efficient resource utilization.
