About The Role

LightFury Games is building a next-generation AAA sports title in Unreal Engine 5, and we're looking for a Technical Designer – Camera & Broadcast to create an authentic broadcast experience.

You'll combine technical implementation with design, owning gameplay cameras, broadcast presentation, replay systems, and cinematic moments. Working closely with Design, Engineering, Animation, UI, Audio, and Art teams, you'll ensure every match delivers a premium television-quality experience while maintaining gameplay clarity and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and tune gameplay camera systems in Unreal Engine.
Develop dynamic broadcast camera logic that adapts to gameplay.
Build cinematic match presentation including intros, player entrances, toss sequences, celebrations, milestones, trophy ceremonies, and replay highlights.
Create Blueprint-driven camera behaviours, transitions, tracking, framing, zoom, and blending.




Configure and maintain Unreal Sequencer assets for broadcast moments.
Collaborate with Gameplay, Animation, Audio, and UI teams to deliver polished presentation.
Prototype, iterate, and optimise camera systems based on gameplay feedback.
Document camera workflows and implementation best practices.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience as a Technical Designer, Gameplay Designer, Technical Artist, or similar role.
Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.
Strong knowledge of:
Unreal Blueprints
Sequencer
Cine Camera Actors
Gameplay Camera Framework
Camera blending, interpolation, tracking, framing, and collision
Understanding of gameplay events, state-driven camera logic, and cinematic workflows.
Solid problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Shipped at least one AAA title.
Experience working on sports, racing, action, or third-person games.
Knowledge of sports broadcasting a
