Overview

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise for LAN, WAN, Firewalls, DNS, Loadbalancers
Monitor and Mentor Network engineers in respective shifts
Translate decisions into practical guidelines, policies and implementation plans.
Oversee & Maintain department KPIs / KSIs
Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures

Required

Profile required

Graduate
Active CCNA mandatory, knowledge on Security mandatory
Knowledge on appliances will be added advantage
Knowledge on cloud / Data will be added advantage
Excellent written and Verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure related to scale of business impact
Drive high priority incidents from GNOC along with the experts
Report on the operational health of the global connectivity infrastructure, driving improvements where needed working closely with our external service providers.
Provide technical consultation to internal business partners.
Prioritize incidents across the shifts towards resolution. Provide Queue management 24x7




Be the Liasion between the feature teams & GNOC on various initiatives
Own and drive various department initiatives including but not limited to automation, noise reduction, current service offerings.
Assume product ownership within department
Drive shift standup calls / other governance calls for the team
