Position Summary
Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman / CAD Engineer responsible for preparation of detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, nesting drawings, and manufacturing documentation to support production and project execution activities.
The role requires robust drafting accuracy, coordination with production teams, and effective revision control management.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.
Generate CNC bending and laser cutting nesting drawings as per production requirements.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings and shop drawings.
Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Maintain proper revision control and document management.
Coordinate with the production department for manufacturing feasibility and drawing clarifications.
Support Design and Engineering teams in BOM preparation.
Modify and update drawings based on production feedback and project changes.
Ensure timely release of drawings to support production schedules.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship
Experience
3–8 years of relevant experience in fabrication drafting, CAD engineering, or manufacturing drawing preparation.
Software Skills
AutoCAD (Mandatory)
SolidWorks (Preferred)
