About the role
This role sits within an emerging independent strategic advisory practice focused on promoter-led businesses. The practice works at the intersection of ownership, control, capital readiness, governance, leadership transitions, enterprise continuity, and global integration.
The role is intended for someone who is intellectually curious, highly structured, discreet, and capable of turning complex ideas, documents, and conversations into helpful analytical outputs. It is suitable for candidates from CA, CS, LLB, MBA, commerce, or adjacent backgrounds who want to work close to high-quality strategic thinking rather than in a purely routine execution role.
Role purpose
The Analyst – Strategic Advisory will support the development of the practice's intellectual frameworks, diagnostic tools, client materials, and engagement delivery processes.
The role involves helping translate broad promoter concerns into structured research, sharp briefing notes, client-ready documents, internal knowledge files, and well-organised delivery support. It is not a routine administrative role.
It is intended for someone who wants to build depth in ownership, governance, capital, promoter-led business, and cross-border institutional issues.
Key responsibilities
1. Research and knowledge building
· Build and maintain research files on ownership, control, capital architecture, governance, succession, next-generation transitions, and cross-border structures.
· Track relevant developments, frameworks, and case examples relating to promoter-led businesses, family enterprises, investor rights, governance design, and institutionalisation.
· Convert reading and source material into concise notes, issue summaries, and practical insights.
2. Framework and content development
· Support the refinement of internal advisory frameworks, including diagnostic reviews, scoring models, question banks, and pillar-wise working tools.
· Help prepare one-pagers, briefing notes, point-of-view doc
