Key Responsibilities

Strategy

Responsible for managing the delivery of regulatory reporting outputs in accordance with regulatory requirements. Works across Group, Country, Business and Change teams to improve the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of Capital metrics submitted to stakeholders. Supports initiatives to optimise Capital and RWA through improved data quality, controls, and reporting processes.

Business

Strong functional knowledge across Basel frameworks (Basel II, III and IV), Capital metrics computation, and reporting methodologies. Positive understanding of Banking Products and their linkage to Risk Weighted Assets and regulatory capital outcomes. Hands-on experience using SQL and reporting platforms to interrogate data and perform analysis. Familiarity with Moody’s reporting platforms is an advantage. Good understanding of regulatory data management requirements including BCBS 239, PRA and Local regulatory expectations.

Processes

Ensures operational efficiency, accuracy,



and completeness of regulatory capital reports through effective monitoring of KPIs and controls. Establishes robust control checks and governance within the reporting process to meet regulatory standards. Drives continuous process improvement through standardisation, simplification, and automation to enhance reporting quality and sustainability.

People & Talent

Manages and develops team members responsible for BAU regulatory capital reporting. Collaborates with Change, Technology, and Business teams to support implementation of enhancements and ensures smooth transition of changes into BAU in line with regulatory and technology objectives.

Risk Management

Identifies, manages, and escalates risks related to capital metrics and regulatory reporting. Supports responses to internal and external queries on regulatory capital and reporting outcomes. Provides analysis and support on capital-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate documentation.
