R&D; Team Leader – Analytical chemistry, Tribology and Data is responsible for:
Resource and priority management:
- Manages the human resources of his/her team (Analytical chemistry, Tribology and Data), supervises and leads teams, arbitrates priorities, and distributes work
- Acts as a manager/coach
- Prepares, builds, and consolidates the team's annual budget in coordination with the head of TCAP, especially for CAPEX budget
- Identifies, maintains, and develops the necessary skills in the short, medium, and long term and develops his/her teams accordingly
- Manages equipment worth several million euros (for Analytical chemistry and Tribology laboratories)
Technical and scientific activities:
- Responsible for R&D; activities in his/her team for Analytical chemistry and Tribology. His/her team contributes to all R&D; projects related to R&D; lines Fuels and Lubricants (R&D; projects related to products development for industrial lubricants, automotive lubricants, special fluids and E&P; additives) and BioHub
- Develops the service’s annual and long-term R&D; road map in collaboration with R&D; managers, project managers, program managers and the relevant business units
- Coordinates digital activity for TCAP and ensures the implementation of the digital roadmap of R&D; Line Fuels and Lubricants at TCAP
- Ensures that his/her team meets the needs (in terms of quality and timing) of the projects and our customers
- Ensures the publication of the team's results in the form of technical notes in OneDoc
- Ensures that the service’s R&D; work is promoted and communicated (conferences, publications,…)
- Ensures the maintaining and traceability of knowledge within his/her team
- Ensures within his/her team the use of company tools for R&D; data collection and R&D; data visualization and interpretation
