About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Accops. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, particularly in networking, virtualization, and security domains. This role involves leading QA initiatives, managing testing teams, and collaborating closely with development and product management teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for designing comprehensive test strategies, overseeing manual testing processes, and driving continuous improvement in our QA practices. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or from our Pune office, providing an excellent prospect to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (BCA, MCA, BE, BTech). A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing and quality assurance is required. Strong technical knowledge in networking, virtualization, and security protocols is essential.





Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in test management tools, defect tracking, and team leadership. Additional certifications in automation or performance testing are a plus. Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Accops, your primary responsibilities will include acting as the key point of contact for all QA-related activities during product releases. You will lead and mentor the QA team, manage external contract testers, and ensure that testing processes are thorough and efficient.

Your role involves performing root-cause analysis on complex networking or virtualization issues, guiding teams on requirement understanding, and designing boundary test cases for comprehensive coverage. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into deliverables, and coordinate testing efforts to meet release schedules. Establishing and evolving QA processes is vital for maintaining high-quality standards, including defining metrics and implementing industry best practices.

You will also oversee documentation related to product communication flows, test plans, and release notes to facilitate transparency and stakeholder communication. Additionally,



you will be responsible for understanding server configurations, network architecture, and security protocols such as PKI, Ciphers, and Digital Certificates. Your expertise will help in managing testing for products involving virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix, as well as testing web services, client-server applications, and mobile applications.

Leading automation initiatives, performance testing, and container technologies like Kubernetes will also be part of your scope, depending on project needs.
