Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer / SDET (3–6 years experience)

who can build and own the automation testing framework for Vrudhi’s product ecosystem.

This role is critical to ensuring:

1. • High product quality across releases
2. • Reduced manual testing dependency
3. • Faster and reliable deployments

You will work across:
1. • SPEED LDS 3.0 (assessment & reporting engine)
2. • SPEED CMS 2.0 (content & school workflows)
3. • SpEdPLAY 2.0 (gamified and interactive platform)

Key Responsibilities 1. Automation Framework Development

1. • Design and build automation frameworks from scratch

2. • Develop automated test scripts for:

Web applications

APIs

5. o (Optional: Mobile applications)

6. • Ensure scalability and maintainability of automation suite

2. Test Automation & Execution

1. • Automate regression, smoke, and functional test cases

2. • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines

3. • Ensure high test coverage across critical workflows

4. • Reduce manual testing effort over time

3. API & Backend Testing (Critical for Vrudhi)

7. Collaboration with Product & Engineering

1. • Participate in sprint planning and requirement discussions

2. • Translate user stories into test scenarios

3. • Ensure features meet acceptance criteria

8. CI/CD Integration

1. • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines

2. • Enable continuous testing for faster releases

3. • Ensure build stability before deployment

Qualifications & Experience

1. • 3–6 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles

2. •

Strong experience with

3. o Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
4. o API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)

5. • Programming knowledge (Java / Python / JavaScript preferred)

6. • Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

7. • Experience in SaaS or product-based companies preferred
